Introduction & Scope

LoreGlide is a bring-your-own-content reading tool. This Privacy Notice explains how we handle the data needed to deliver the service.

What We Collect

• Account basics: email from your auth provider (Google).
• Content you import: pasted text or uploaded files (TXT only; other formats not yet supported).
• Usage signals: timestamps, limited logs for reliability and abuse prevention. No ads trackers.

How We Use It

• Provide and improve the reading/translation experience.
• Prevent abuse and ensure service reliability.
• Comply with legal requirements where applicable.

Storage & Retention

• Data is stored in our chosen cloud providers (e.g., Supabase).
• We use encryption in transit; at-rest encryption depends on provider defaults.
• We retain data while your account is active, or until you delete content/account.

Sharing

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We may use vetted service providers (e.g., cloud hosting, logging) under data protection terms.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Your Choices

• Delete imported documents at any time.
• Contact us to delete your account; we will remove associated personal data unless retention is required by law.
• Opt out of non-essential emails.

Children

LoreGlide is not directed to children under 13. If we learn we collected data from a child, we will delete it.
